After a competitive tender exercise G S Kelsey Ltd were appointed to design and build 5nr new terraced dwellings for Shoreline Housing Partnership. Shoreline are a large housing association covering all of North East Lincolnshire who own and manage 7,900 homes. The development site is the first new build project the organisation has carried out and was partly funded by a grant from the Homes and Communities Agency.
The design of the new dwellings are a deliberate contrast to the surrounding houses, providing clean and modern homes with a distinct character. The dwellings have been designed and built to a high level of sustainability, with each property designed to meet the ‘Lifetime Homes’ criteria and to achieve Code for Sustainable Homes level three.
The development was completed within 24 weeks due to a collaborative working approach between ourselves, Shoreline and our partner architects.
