The project had been delayed due to the client reviewing their business plans in volatile climate for teh tarsnport industry. GS Kelsey supported the client and their project team with value engineering initiatives to provide the level of affordability needed to make it a viable expansion.
Collaborative working throughout ensured savings were also made post-contract. We worked closely with a specialist AFT pit installer who work globally to ensure the facility met the VOSA regulations.
Using only local labour, materials and subcontractors the project had a concentrated spend throughout Northern Lincolnshire. Completed in 18 weeks the project was handed over ahead of time and under budget.
