G S Kelsey were appointed main contractor to refurbish and extend the John Roe, Toyota garage in Scunthorpe. With business as usual on the site, safety was paramount to the live operation. Careful organisation and planning between Toyotas business manager and our site manager enabled works to be completed with minimal disruption to Toyotas trading operation and the existing facility remained operational throughout the whole project.
The project comprised of a new car showroom and external MOT Bay, steel frames were incorporated into the showroom with large glazed operable doors. This created a nice vibrant open space to enable the manoeuvring and displaying of various cars.
The steel frame aided a swift development programme and the whole build was completed in an impressive 20 weeks, within budget and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders at Toyota.
