The project involved the construction of a new children’s centre on a corner plot next to the existing youth centre. The existing disused building on the site was demolished and the site cleared. The new children’s centre is a single story traditional brick and block construction with pitched pantile roof.
The building was connected to the services and landscaping, car parking, security fencing and external play areas completed the project. Work was also carried out in the existing youth centre to refurbish the toilets.
