GS Kelsey carried out the alterations and renovation work to create the new Brigg Library and Local Link at the Angel Suite located in Brigg market place.
The work involved some minor demolition of existing office partition walls and creating openings in the walls of the old building for new library to provide open access from one end of the building to the other. Creating the openings in the
existing buildings walls was challenging, and specialist propping was designed and installed while the openings were made and structural steel put in place.
For the local link offices an existing step in the building was removed and ramp created to provide disability access for users of the facility. The remaining rooms were refurbished and repainted with additional radiators fitted where necessary.
