The first of two consecutive contracts at Baysgarth School in Barton upon Humber saw us refurbish and extend an existing detached building on site. Works to form a separate skills centre on the grounds of the school campus included the construction of a 100m2 extension and a refurbishment of over 350m2 of internal space. Extensive structural works were required to create the large spans for a motor vehicle shop and a space to form a beauty salon.
We were on-site for a total of 24 weeks, a permanent site manager minimised disruption during the construction phase of the project by constantly liaising with the school caretaker. The project was completed ahead of time and under the contract budget.
