We are delighted to have been appointed to a 30 week contract to build Selby High Schools brand new PE and Sports Activity Centre. The £1.2 million transformation will see an additional 650m2 of space added to provide new, inclusive access to the sports hall. The ground floor will consist of a new male and female changing block complete with showers and WC’s designed to cater for those with disabilities. The old existing changing facilities will be transformed into two classrooms and a fitness suite. Above the new changing facilities, four classrooms and an administration area will provide students with a high quality learning environment.
Harvey Smith, GS Kelsey Construction Site Manager, will lend his expertise of working in live school environments to ensure the smooth, disruption free completion of the project.
We look forward to working collaboratively with Glenrate Project Management and PPIY Architects to ensure the completion of the project is as always ‘on time and within budget’.
Here at Kelsey’s we also pay close attention to our clients own aspirations and social values and we will do all we can to help the school with extracurricular activities and social enterprise projects.
