We were delighted to be appointed to our first North Lincolnshire Council Construction framework Contract in December 2014. After a competitive tender exercise we were engaged to construct three additional classrooms for Holme Valley School to cater for the rising population in Bottesford where the school is situated.
Building work had to be completed by August 2015 to allow the school to prepare for the arrival of new pupils and teachers in the new school term. A brand new school hall was incorporated into the scheme, creating a larger space for school assemblies and PE lessons and taking the overall development extension to 600m2.

Our site teams worked collaboratively with the head teacher and her staff to ensure that disruption was kept to a minimum and that the school continued to function safely. Where ever possible we engaged with pupils and staff and over the course of the 34 week programme we held a number of educational site visits.
Our Director and Site manager presented prize t two pupils whose design for playground markings were eventually used after a competition held in the school. Matthew and Paul also conducted a Q&A session with the school council during a site visit and some essential construction knowledge was bestowed upon the potential future of the industry!
The attentive service from our dedicated local employees and supply change ensured this project was completed on time and within budget and judging by the references received the end users and client were very satisfied.
